This week, I wanted to give you a review of what I thought of my first week trying out The Dinner Daily. I picked out my favorite recipe of the week to share with you. What I loved about this recipe is that it is beyond simple, not anything I would have ever thought of on my own, and it tastes great. I hope you love it too!

This blog is now about six months old. It begs the question, what have I learned in this process and have I made progress? And how have your family dinners been shaping up? To keep our momentum going, I have a new dinner challenge that I would like to propose! It should make your dinner planning and preparation easier and more enjoyable. Check out my blog to see how you can join me!

Earlier this summer I put the challenge out there to create some new excitement in your dinner routine and kitchen environment. I thought I should put my money where my mouth is. Partly because that is just the right thing to do, and second, because I really wanted to try a Supper Club. This last week I invited everyone over for a Mexican themed dinner party. This week I am suggesting Mexican lasagna!

Today is National Fried Chicken Day. I have now given you a reason to have some awesome fried chicken. I would recommend getting chicken at the County Market Deli for three simple reasons. Check out my blog this week to find out why and see some photographic evidence as to how much the average child enjoys this meal.
