Unwrap the ribs and turn them meat side down. Pull off the thin membrane on the back of the rib rack. Shake on a rib rub seasoning (Durkee makes a good one) on each side of the rib. Work the rub into the meat with your hands. Fill a broiler pan ¾ full of water. Place the broiler lid on top of the broiler pan. Cut the ribs into 2 equal portions and place on the broiler pan. Cover with foil and bake in a 220 degree oven for 45 – 60 minutes. Remove the ribs from the oven and let cool for 25 – 30 minutes. Place the two rib portions on a grill rack. Grill the ribs over medium hot coals for 10 – 15 minutes on each side. Brush with your favorite BBQ sauce twice on each side while grilling. This method will give you tender juicy ribs every time.
